- Computer Based Examination (CBE): Online written test.
- PET / PST: Physical Efficiency Test (Race) & Physical Standard Test (Height/Chest).

How to Apply for SSC GD 2026
- Visit the new official SSC website: ssc.gov.in.
- Complete ‘One Time Registration’ (OTR) if you are a new user.
- Login using your Registration Number and Password.
- Click on “Apply” link in the ‘Constable (GD) in CAPFs, SSF and Rifleman (GD)’ section.
- Fill the details, upload photo/signature, and pay the fee.
- Correction Window: If you make a mistake, you can correct it by paying ₹200 (1st time) or ₹500 (2nd time).
