BSSC Inter Level Syllabus 2025
(Prelims & Mains Exam Pattern)
Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) conducts the 2nd Inter Level Combined Competitive Examination for posts like Revenue Employee, Panchayat Sachiv, and LDC. The selection process includes a Preliminary Exam followed by a Mains Exam.
⚡ Marking Scheme: For every correct answer, 4 Marks are awarded. For every wrong answer, 1 Mark is deducted.

1. General Studies (सामान्य अध्ययन)
- Current Affairs: Scientific Progress, National/International Awards, Indian Languages, Books, Script, Capital, Currency, Sports-Players.
- India & Neighbors: History of Neighboring Countries, History of India, Culture, Geography, Economic Scenario, Freedom Movement, Indian Agriculture and Natural Resources.
- Polity: Constitution of India, Country’s Political System, Panchayati Raj, Community Development, Five Year Plans.
- Bihar Special: Contribution of Bihar in Freedom Movement.
2. General Science & Mathematics
- General Science: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography (Matric/10th Level).
- Mathematics: Number System, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions, Relationship between Numbers, Basic Arithmetical Operations, Percentage, Ratio and Proportion, Average, Interest, Profit and Loss.
3. Mental Ability (Reasoning)
- Verbal & Non-Verbal: Analogies, Similarities and Differences, Space Visualization, Problem Solving, Analysis, Visual Memory.
- Analytical: Relationship Concepts, Arithmetical Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Arithmetical Reasoning.
