The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has officially closed the new application process for the Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Undergraduate posts. However, for candidates who made mistakes in their application forms—such as incorrect names, photo uploads, or educational details—the board is activating the Modification Window.

If you have applied for posts like Junior Clerk, Accounts Clerk, or Commercial Ticket Clerk, you can modify your application online at rrbapply.gov.in by paying a modification fee.

Important Dates for Correction

Modification Fee 2025

To make any changes to your submitted application form, you must pay a non-refundable modification fee. This applies to all candidates, irrespective of category.

• Modification Fee: ₹250 (Non-Refundable)
• Category Change Fee: If you change your category from SC/ST/EWS to UR/OBC, you must pay the modification fee (₹250) + the difference in exam fee (₹250), totaling ₹500.

What Can and Cannot Be Edited?

It is crucial to know which fields are locked and which can be modified. According to the official notification for CEN 07/2025:

✅ Editable Fields (Allowed)

• Candidate’s Name (Spelling corrections)
• Father’s & Mother’s Name
• Date of Birth
• Educational Qualifications (Marks/Percentage)
• Photograph and Signature
• Caste/Category Certificate Details
• Exam Language

❌ Non-Editable Fields (Locked)

The following details used during ‘Create Account’ generally cannot be changed:

• RRB Zone (Once selected, it is final)
• Email ID
• Mobile Number

How to Edit RRB NTPC Application Form 2025

1. Visit the official website: rrbapply.gov.in.
2. Login using your registered Mobile Number/Email and Password.
3. Go to the dashboard and select the option “Modify Application” for CEN 07/2025 (Undergraduate).
4. Pay the required modification fee of ₹250 online.
5. Edit the incorrect details carefully.
6. Submit the form and take a printout of the revised application for future reference.
